Staff and Volunteer
Opportunities
The Extreme Weather
Shelter depends on it's staff and volunteers to run
smoothing each night. If you're interested in being a part of our team
here's a few things you should consider:
Everyone
working at the shelter:
- Should be available to
work at fairly short notice.
(Protocol will be called by 11am the day of operations -
shifts
start at 5:30p).
- Should be well
equipped to handle sensitive and some times
challenging interactions with both clients and other shelter
workers.
- Must have a criminal
record check completed.

note that the bulk of
our staffing needs are being met by trained people from the many
different helping organizations throughout the valley.
